Bio

I am an energetic, driven person who knows how to bring people together and to work as a team player to get things done. I am focused on using my knowledge and experience to help improve the quality of life of all individuals while reducing our carbon footprint and protecting our precious resources. I am passionate about Arctic research and understanding climate change. I graduated with a Master of Science from the University of Manitoba where I studied the impact of permafrost degradation on the organic carbon cycle of Hudson Bay. I am currently working at the Northern Climate ExChange at the Yukon Research Centre as a Permafrost Researcher. Some of my goals are to explore the Yukon and expand my knowledge on sustainability, voluntary simplicity, and looking at the implementation of a more resource-based economy.
